Fantastic pictures, but snakes always give me the creeps. I sure don’t like them, and luckily it seems that our animals here keep them away – to a certain extent. We seem to have fewer snakes around the house/properfty than other people here in Karnes City/County. Unfortunately, though, sometimes one of our animals does get bitten. That’s what we’ll have to live with in rural southern TX.
As to Romney: I sure hope his snake-oil-salesman technique won’t work, even if the polls show him getting even with Obama or even ahead. I sure don’t know why. So, even if I – since I’m a German citizen still – can’t vote here in the US, I’ll keep my fingers crossed for Obama.

Hey! Russel Ray, I LIKE snakes! They don’t want bad company you know. Seriously though, I am thankful for living so far north that we just have garter snakes, and rattlers but my dear old pop called them the ‘gentlemen of snakes’ because they warn you when you’re getting too close. Great post, awesome photos, funny title (except it makes me want to say “Hey! Wait a minute! I like snakes!”). Cheers!

I’m not a fan of politicians full stop, but Romney scares the crap out of me. (Thank heavens I’m in Canada and don’t have to vote for him!) Snake-oil is right and sadly seems to be charming normally rational women. I vote for the be-kind-to-snakes-day! 🙂 Great pics!
