It’s no secret that one of the most eclectic neighborhoods in San Diego County is the City of San Diego neighborhood of Ocean Beach.
As I was driving around Ocean Beach taking pictures of the rain this past weekend, I also was noticing business signage, something I’ve never done before during the daytime.
Ocean Beach never fails to disappoint my Canon camera, which then makes it so much more fun to play around in Photoshop.

Your waterfront is so much more beachy elegant than ours. Great designs. Before Hurricane Carla I remember the seawall was lined with vintage-ish seashell shops. Then there was nothing much. recently the shops/seawall have been spiffied up a bit, but much of it looks like pretend Disneyland-ish (and cheap t-shirt shops). Maybe it will all season with age.
Ocean Beach looks like there’s always something new to discover

We have pretend Disneyland-ish and cheap t-shirt shops here, too, over at the Mission Beach Boardwalk. It is fun to go for a walk early in the morning before the shops have opened and before the tourists show up. Just locals enjoying the locale.

Early morning is really nice – winter probably is too…although your coast is a destination year round. Looks beautiful
