Yesterday while I was visiting blogs, I saw two pictures of beautiful sunsets.
That reminded me that the past two years here in San Diego have provided us with more beautiful sunsets than at any time I can remember in my 21 years here.
We do get beautiful sunsets associated with wildfires that roar through here occasionally, but the last significant wildfires that created beautiful sunsets were in October 2007 and October 2003, two of the worst fire seasons (and people say we have only one season here!) in San Diego and California history.

Jim has been working 3-4 jobs the past several years. He’s been offered a full-time job with CVS Pharmacy as a store manager. He’s in the process of drug testing (hope it doesn’t detect margaritas!) and providing claims verification (past jobs, education, etc.). He’s scheduled to start March 24, so maybe in a year or so when he has vacation, we’ll actually be able to go somewhere. Across the Pacific is on my mind!

Now ya got me, Russel. I love sunrises n’ sunsets. My favorite is “Sunset in San Diego, September 2, 2013 … looks like the cover of a novel.
