One of the best places to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon is SeaWorld San Diego, and one of the best shows there is “Pets Rule.”
These “pets” include cats, dogs, pigs, birds, and a kangaroo.
Some pets (birds, mostly) were rescued from illegal animal trading and importing.
Others (mostly cats and dogs) were deemed by shelters to be not adoptable due to a bad disposition or such.
Once you see these “pets” and how happy they are to have a loving audience, you’ll never understand how they were deemed not adoptable.

I can’t believe that I had never been to the show before. It will become at least an annual event.

How lovely that they are taking in animal rescues! Who would ever think that any of those dogs, cats, birds, pigs or kangaroos had terrible dispositions. Love the photo with the fellow hugging the dog! Hugs and be well! B

Fess up, Russel – how did you get that pig to smile? Great photos, and wonderful to know that Sea World adopts the “unadoptable”.

Yes, the smiling pig was my favourite too! I hope the animals get lots of love and kindness. They all look happy and are very lucky to have found some happiness.

You can always tell when a sentient being is happy because there is a glow about them.

There is no way they could have found a cat with a bad attitude. 🙂

It is hard to believe but they do exist. Just watch “My Cat From Hell” and you’ll see them. They just take a little extra effort to turn them into lovable beasts.
