Out & About

Two of my favorite beaches in San Diego are Imperial Beach and Ocean Beach. Here are some scenes:

Even the sidewalks are beachy.

Fishing is allowed from the pier since it’s a “fishing pier.”
Not from in the waters or on the beach, though.

My wise old grandmother taught me to share,
so I passed by this drinking fountain:

The pier’s restaurant is a relaxed place to eat with the best view.

And she likes them with or without dirt and plants in them. Just as long as they are slightly too small for her so she can squeeze herself into them and feel comfortable………….

Painting utility boxes seems to be a passion here in the County. The last time I saw an unpainted utility box, well, they were painting it.

I’m not a fisherperson. I’d rather just watch the little fishees swim about merrily.

I do like to go fishing, though, because fishing places tend to be very quiet, serene, beautiful. My friends also like to take me fishing because I play the extremely important role of volunteer………..

I always volunteer to go get more beer before the last bottle is empty……..
